Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Tub and Plastics - #7065
Box Art?? Nooo..... Go full Baron on it!  That would be epic! Can you imagine the disgust and retribution that would bring me, defacing Andy's work like that. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQG3xxzE-OfGRveH_D8l02nruXHQj1v-XhnkEhrilaaTW53LC6j7F8cR6t6zehTN5Zzr4g&a...

Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Tub and Plastics - #7065
Can't believe someone out there is making the specific, RC10gt box art decal sheet, so stoked. The seller sent me a nice email, letting me know he's in Canada and it could be a couple of weeks until the sheet gets here. Ahh... the moment when the internet shows you exactly what you want... with a &...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
Only one cap goes across the positive and negetive tabs. The other two will go from the positive and negetive tabs to ground. Motors with crimped endbells don't have ground tabs. You must attach directly to the can (it takes some practice). Here are a couple of mine. 20231215_151938.jpg 20231215_152...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
Those are generic bullet terminals, from the auto parts store. It would have originally came with this type. They are open barrel type terminals (require the correct type of crimper) and have silicone sheaths. Screenshot_20231215_160806_Samsung Internet.jpg The terminals themselves are cheap and eas...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
You could also reverse channel 2 on your radio. Some ESCs need that done. No big deal. If you reverse the channel and it runs correct, then you're good. Forward should be on command, and I think there should be pause before reverse can be commanded.

Possible Zebra RC10 CE... help requested
Hi all, I'm new to the vintage RC10 platform. My time as a kid was with Tamiya Grasshoppers, Hornets and Frogs. I always wanted a RC10 but the prices were way over our budget. I was recently re-introduced to the vintage RC world which re-ignited my desire to own the unattainable from my childhood. I...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
Sweet job on the super sano wiring
Really well done.
Are you hosting your pics ? Or posting them directly to the site and placing in line ? I’d love to be able to click on them and zoom in but it’s currently not possible with any of your pics.

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
I'm playing with the display of all this for the shelf. Not certain on the body just yet. Vintage pack, or no pack? If pack, Sanyo bare pack, or red pack? Depends, If your gear is getting stored, I'd vote batteries in the vehicle. If you're displaying your gear then batteries out with everything el...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
Might cut the antenna length in half, and use the remainder for another car. The last thing to do on the chassis is to set up the steering servo throw, it's way too long, and then configure the ESC with the Tx. Currently the Rooster goes faster in reverse, and even after wiring it correctly. Cuttin...

Cool RC10 Progression Example... imo
I don't have permission to all the forums yet. If this is posted in the wrong place please move it or just delete. I'm beginning to learn about the different progressions the original RC10 undertook during its production. I was lucky enough to view an incredible collection of RC10s over the weekend,...

Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Tub and Plastics - #7065
The head screws hold the sleeve in, should be a relatively tight fit already.

Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Tub and Plastics - #7065
The head is bolted down and that holds the sleeve down.
It should fit pretty tight in the block though.
Does it look like the correct sleeve for the block ports wise ?
Looks like we posted at the same time
