Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
Take a look here. The Team Car Viper paint is very elaborate but also very cool.

Kyosho Javelin Arrives in KY
I'm so pumped to add another childhood dream machine to the RC garage. I couldn't believe I found this buggy close to me. I thought it may be a rere, but after seeing it in person, I knew it was an original. The cage and frame needs some attention but the Option House add-ons give it the period corr...

Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....
I always assumed this meant the fragile clear plastic parts... pretty much to stop people from running their 10CC, and then complaining that it broke - if you know there's (officially) no spares of the fragile stuff, then maybe you won't build the kit and then take it to the local motocross track. ...

Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Tub and Plastics - #7065
The two bodies are useable on the narrow early rear tower. But the original body will not clear the later wide rear tower.

If you got the two under the headlights, probably just extras to fill up extra space on the sheet.

Cliff Lett.
On the side of the box it said they were the ones responsible for designing and testing the GT. I thought it would be fitting to get all three.

The Andy’s body I posted in your thread has never been mounted, I bought it pretty recently. The autographed body is on my box art truck.

Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Tub and Plastics - #7065
There’s tons of minor little things you’ll discover trying to make a perfect replica. The old truck wings are molded slightly different than the new Jconcepts wing. The modern wing has that more modern kick at the top. And I’m not sure the sides are molded the same or not. I’ll do some digging and s...

Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Tub and Plastics - #7065
I think the wings changed around the T2 era, they had the moulding provisions to cut the spoiler narrower. Also from memory the spoilers didn't come with the bodies so they were a seperate item you had to purchase separately or make yourself. Edit, I'm now convinced it's the same wing, if you look c...

Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Tub and Plastics - #7065
Regarding your post earlier about not fitting the later towers - since GT towers aren't stupid money yet you can cut the ears off the shock tower, it doesn't look quite right but will allow you to mount the body properly. Ideally you'd need a set of repro towers but cutting them will get you by.

Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Tub and Plastics - #7065
As RC10th has shown. The old wing is molded different than the new wing. It wouldn’t be hard to fold the sides in on the new wing. But the rolled sides were just trimmed from the way it was molded on the old wing. To my memory and knowledge, the old GTs came with the wing in the kit. They were just ...

Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Tub and Plastics - #7065
If you want an exact replica, you need the old one.
You may be able to fold the jconcepts to look like Boxart. But the old one just needs to be trimmed.
