Re: looks like we need a rere associated on road section next!
Just hit the HPI website for some answers: The wheels on the TA in the photo are discontinued but I'm sure Tamiya and others make a similar wheel. The TA body is 200mm x 254mm wheelbase so it won't simply drop-on the DS without some work. Having integrated wheel flares might limit how the wheel arc...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I wasn't planning to buy one of these right now but I got impatient and ... well... here it is.
Anyway, I've taken advantage of Paypal's Pay-in-4 no-interest installment plan and here I am again yielding to the evils of play today, pay tomorrow.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I like 'shopping local' when I can, and with mikea96 being a talented painter it's a pretty easy choice. Some of us really really hate painting. 😁 I special ordered one and 'needed' the other. . 1000013659.jpg . I don't know what these turnbuckles are intended to go on, but I can always find a use f...

In the spirit of AE60 and wallet Zero, these came in the mail today. Any guesses on the next ReRe and when AE will take another bite of cash?

Re: looks like we need a rere associated on road section next!
My DS was delivered today along with the YZ10. I'm going to leave it in the box for awhile and keep any eye on all the cool builds you Fella's are working on. Given my passion for vintage VW's, I will be looking for a full body vw bug body that fits the wheelbase and width... if anyone has any ideas...

Re: RC10 DS Classic - Build
https://i.imgur.com/uowR2eV.jpg I'll be fitting the Stock body on this chassis with the black and green boxart. Will also fit a couple custom bodies to this chassis, and may get another DS at some point for those. https://i.imgur.com/3EFhdhN.jpg Time to get started. I'm looking forward to this buil...

Re: RC10L Wheels, Tires & Donuts - Details & Deep Dive (help needed)
more updates here: 1) If you have a tire truer your best bet as of the date of this post is to just buy the Contact RC donuts. Ignore that they say they are for buggies. Get the JY45 for the front and JY35 for the rear. I haven't gone down this route yet myself. Regarding the recessed area in the Se...

Re: Is This a Electronic Speed Control a Good Buy for the Vintage Sand Scorcher?
Hi, R/C friends and fellow R/C tournament champs, is this a good buy for US$14? Is it branded like Kyosho or Tamiya? image.jpeg Thank you in advance, God bless us R/C racers. That's an LRP manufactured ESC. LRP was based in Germany. It is the IPC "Sport" version (model #8347). Pretty dece...

unfortunately AE forgot about thew Worlds holes on the new bulkheads. Best alternative is the inside under the wing tube holes where you have them. It was always impossible to get a driver in there haha. A tamiya took just sqeaks by
