Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
Only one way to do that paint job justice and that’s an airbrush.

Re: What's in the mail? Or, What are you currently waiting for?
I and Im sure many others here totally get what you are saying. Sometimes you need just one part to complete a project and you have to order it, waiting and watching the shipping status with anxiety, and just about having a panic attack when you notice it is delayed somewhere or potentially lost in ...

Your 3 hour estimate does not include the 11 day site-seeing trip across America USPS trucks often take. Cue the Benny Hill theme....GreenBar0n wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2024 3:43 pm Amain is in Chico, CA, I'm in Walnut Creek, CA - that's about 3 hours away.

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
Only one way to do that paint job justice and that’s an airbrush. The blue over the black does look like it would require an airbrush. If there was some way to adjust the tip on the Tamiya black spray, to get it to focus better in a tighter line, might be able to get away with cans. Have checked ou...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
"... it's a serious commitment..." Nah, not really. Like a good set of hex drivers, an air brush is just another tool in your arsenal (sorry for the mixed metaphors
).
And, you don't need to spend 300 bucks to get good results.
Go for it, man!

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
I sent Andy a message on eBay about the Team Car Viper paint job, he said he will be painting Viper body's soon, he's waiting on delivery currently of more of them. He sounded like the Team Car paint job was in the works, stoked! Be sure to report back IF you ever see or receive a Team Car painted ...

Re: Next up- The Halsey edition RC10
It’s a nice addition. I just wish it came painted. I will never be able to do a box art body on this or even the RC10T. Do not despair, the kit comes will a full decal sheet so you'll only need to shoot one color. :D https://scontent-atl3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/460630709_541070471639364_36457...

Re: Airbrush paint help
I am using proline, it scratches if i dont back it. I use rust-oleum 2X clear (any plastic safe clear is probably fine). I am new to airbrushing and have only used proline paints. The paints don’t work out of the bottle for me either. I have to use vallejo flow improver with them to prevent clogging...

Re: Airbrush paint help
I have been using parma faskolor for awhile now and really like it. Flows good and doesn't scratch off like the proline paint does.
