Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
As luck would have it, I have a large bottle of Naptha that I used for guitar necks/fretboard inlay repair. https://i.imgur.com/PcQKQAx.jpg https://i.imgur.com/TDTJK6j.jpg https://i.imgur.com/l0Xeldn.jpg Also worked incredibly well on that tape: https://i.imgur.com/OUKCyC0.jpg Switch tape too: http...

Re: Best Liquid Mask product?
I use this air compressor https://www.amainhobbies.com/paasche-d500-compressor-w-r75-regulator-pasd500sr/p35280
And I have been using this airbrush.

And I just use a full size compressor for the mini hvlp.

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
You can still buy the Stealth diff lube but any ball diff lube works. Most of mine use the inexpensive Arrowmax grease, which seems fine.

Many times the crunchiness is from the 6 little ball bearings in the side of the outdrive.

Re: RC10 GT - Black Pan and Plastics
A 4 oz. ball peen hammer and a pin punch work nice. Or a jeweler's hammer, they go from 3 oz down to 1 oz. Then as Happy Gilmore said... just give it a tap, tap, tap-a-roo.

This pin seems like it's too good for its home . https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS0-UvWxaVmmLhqlilwAO1CPqCzyr9d0ubAJd6nYBldjfKnGyaZ9EILrbATOcPn6q4NZFY&usqp=CAU Yeppers, axle roll pins are 1/16 x 3/16. If the 3/16 punch doesn't fit cleanly through the roll pin hole you...

I have these for fishing reels but they should work on axle and input shaft pins as well.

Juicedcoupe's idea is pretty smart too... but I can't tell if he's really zoomed in or just using the biggest channel locks he could find   It is zoomed in so that you can see the slot and that the teeth have been removed from that area. The Vise Grips aren't the smallest size, more of ...

Re: Best Liquid Mask product?
A few comments based on my own experiences, trial & error... -Don't buy an HVLP gun unless you have a hefty air compressor. Those guns need a LOT of air volume to atomize paint properly, and pancake compressors are far too weak. For better results, buy an LVLP gun, which are pretty similar excep...

Re: Best Liquid Mask product?
I use a pancake compressor for my mini hvlp and have had zero problems with the liquid mask. You spray several light coats letting each coat dry between so it has no problem keeping up.

Re: Best Liquid Mask product?
Liquid mask won't spray well through an airbrush. You are better off brushing it or spraying with mini hvlp. I bought my mini hvlp at harbor freight for 40.00 I believe. The one they have that is around 15.00 is junk.

Re: Best Liquid Mask product?
I don't know who has the best but I really like the proline paint. I just scuff the body first before painting since it is water based paint to help with adhesion. I know Createx make a spray on adhesion promoter but I have not tried it.
