The question I have about the RACER is, is this a early RACER EX? Yes. Novak regularly used previous model cases/labels with additional stickers on them during running changes until their supply was exhausted. The only difference between the Racer and the Racer EX was the latter came with Hyperfets...

Could be differences but my understanding from talking to Kelly is that they made them for rcps. Even the Lunsford changed from cut threads to rolled during their production

It’s funny ya brought up the cases because the RACER, HAMMER PRO, RACER EX, and DUALLY all used the same case and heatsinks 👍 I know some of the history but still learning. RC10talk has helped a lot. I too can confirm that the Racer with the "improved" sticker is just the first run of upgraded Racer EX esc's. Novak eventually made a proper "Racer EX" sticker shortly after. I got one with the improved sticker back when the original hpi rs4 came out. Yeah, that was a great setup!
