I use hex adapters in the rear (factory works make them, but I 3d printed mine) and run Kyosho Turbo Scorpion wheels. the other option is to get either CVDs for the rear of the car (not the MIP ones since the new ones are still 1/4" unless you mix and match parts of get an older set), or buy rear stub axles from the RC10DS that are 3/16 and will fit the Mono wheels properly.

You're looking for 2.2 wheels to fit the modern carpet tires.
