So I folded and bought the new yz-834b re re and I've started looking around it and comparing it to my original. As has been mentioned elsewhere nearly every part is to some extent different to the original, there are the more radical changes like the gearbox using 32dp gears over the original 0.8mo...

The bellcranks can be trimmed down to make for extra steering angle. This may void the non-existent 4.1 warranty, but the cranks are made of ~5.3mm thick nylon, so some trimming isn't going to hurt anything IMO. I haven't broken out the angle finders or anything, but my FR01 Ten4.1 is in the ballpar...

The black oxide chassis screws from the RC10CC kit didn't seem quite right to me for this build. They got replaced with more appropriate hardware.
