Re: JRX2 - The project.
Status update. I was going to stop the resto at a rolling chassis, maybe temporary fit modern electronics just to take it for a spin in the yard. But oh no...I couldn´t stop myself. Had a good think of how my original Jrx2 was specced. Pretty sure it had a Novak t-4. So I got a nice one from ...

Re: Optima Pro
What I've found when tinting windows is, what looks perfect while you're holding the body and looking in the windows, ends up being too dark once you mount the body on the chassis. I think it's happened to me every time I've tinted windows.

Re: JRX2 - The project.
This is such a classic build. Love it. Your ESC shelf idea is quite creative; I may end up borrowing your design.

Maxxum FF to the lineup
So, this happened. Not planned. Not within budget, but with a price that you cant turn down. Wife sits as a question mark as I jump out of the sofa at quarter to nine pm and hops into the car only to come back with yet another rc car thirty minutes later. That night in bed she starts talking of tota...

Re: RC10 Noob Questions
Congrats Dadio. Glad you've finally gotten to experience what it's like to drive an RC10. My first experience seeing an RC10 in action was while turn-marshalling my very first off-road race in about 1986. Convinced by a friend to go RC racing, I showed up that day with my old Sand Scorcher and of co...

Re: Maxxum FF to the lineup
Really cool looking buggy! Classic motor too. Wish kyosho had just used platinum shocks though. Where is the steering servo? I couldn't see it in picks. The steering servo is located under the speed controller. Not the best linkage though. Yes, platinum or better up, the gold shocks (they were alre...

Re: Hot Trick, What the... Rise of the Monster Beetle!
The last phase of this build has been the most difficult.. After getting the rear suspension travel and ride height established, I had to match the front end and incorporate the body & front shock mounts all at the same time. To make things more difficult, I wanted to use a stock hard body and m...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
We don't have Drop Bears in my neck of the woods.
We do however, have to be wary of Drop Tigers.
