Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
I feel it's due to the environment here. There isn't that many months a year of nice/warm weather, so you get accustomed to doing regular activities in less than favorable conditions.

Re: Did you ever or do you race now?
In the mid '90s I briefly raced an RC10L at a place called The Sugar Shack. It was on the 2nd floor of a by then run-down building. As a matter of fact, the last thing it was used for was R/C carpet racing. It sat abandoned for 15 years afterwards before being completely demolished.

Re: Doritos 2nd Degree Burn and hot sauces!
I'll take flavor over heat just to be hot any day of the weak. Two Christmases ago I was gifted a sampler set of hot sauces from all around the world. My favorite ended up being the Louisiana bourbon one. :) Every summer I try growing a different hot pepper plant, and then dehydrate them into flake ...

Re: Forum News & Discussion
I didn't realize until a few days ago that the ClodTalk domain name wasn't working. :? I don't know how long it's been that way for but definitely a while. I fixed that, and gave its forum its own red Clod inspired theme and branding. It needed a little bit of extra separation from the rest of the b...

Re: Forum News & Discussion
I've added a 'jumpbox' to the board index page. I don't know if it's something worthwhile or not.
Also the Build of the Month forum got a little trophy.

Re: Rere Team car spotted at SEMA
I know people are happy to get anything from Associated at this point and they certainly have been putting out a lot of models this year. I can't voice my questions at the other forum I frequent without much hand-wringing from a few folks that think questioning anything Associated does will result ...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Well that was not cool... I was told two guys showed up in a white compact car at 9:00 tonight and seemed to be snooping around, and then left. Come to discover they left a package on the front porch. I instantly knew what is was but didn't expect that whatsoever. Ten days ago I bought a pair of rea...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I'm tired of getting things shipped improperly. If you can't package an item in a box that needs to be in a box, don't sell it in the first place as you're just asking for trouble. That's my segue into the 1997 Tower Hobbies catalog I got in the mail today which was packed amazingly for once. I've b...

Re: A "good" clod problem....I think....
The thing with Clods are they've been continually making them for decades by this point with little change. Unless someone specifically wants an all original vintage one, it's not too big of a deal that it is. The body likely has the most worth due to the blank grill and tailgate. Also, if you plan ...
