Re: Bolink Chain Drive
Or you could ditch the DD and use a combo of gears and sprocket on a jack shaft. Either engine sprocket to spur sprocket to pinion gear to spur gear on wheel/axle....or the more common engine pinion to spur gear to pinion sprocket to spur sprocket on wheel/axle.

They're all Hyperdrives except for the 1/12 which is an early CRC Carpet Knife.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I think the model of the two Hyperdrive cars was the 700 E.A.S.E. but that's mostly going by a picture from RCScrewz.com. The 700 and the SSE Pro 2 used that rear pod but the Pro 2 looked to have a fixed battery tray. Posts from Hobbytalk date the car from 2003 or 2004. Here's a couple of pics...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Again, I don't know the full details on the relationship between CRC and Speedmerchant but by all indications they started as one company/partnership but then split off. Here's another ad from '96 that groups CRC and Speedmerchant together under the CRC company name. crcsm.jpg Early CRC header cards...

Re: Edinger Silver dot 6510??
You showed me yours so I'll show ya mine... edreedy.jpg It's a single wind and 16 is written on all 3 sides of the arm. Like you, I had thought a silver dot would've been something in the low 20s but that was based on what the silver dot meant in the later Ultra Series motors. Also I wouldn't have p...

Re: Edinger Silver dot 6510??
Your 6510 header card was restapled. The older Edinger motors typically did not have a lead or cap(s) soldered. Motor plug should most likely be white since the black plug started with the Ultra wet mag Caddy and was soldered on most if not all of them . Hard to say if a silver dot and that motor b...

Re: Edinger Silver dot 6510??
How do the magnets feel on yours? Guessing they are just weaker from age or being stored next to who knows what for its whole life. It feels weaker than the Ultra Series, and other post '87 Yoke, motors I have, but just as strong as the pre '87 Yoke motor I have. Which should be the case since the ...
