Re: Snow 10
This is a vintage kit. There might be something out there that you could make work but this kit is from the late 80's. The tracks are made by RC4wd. Way back when one of the Reader's Rides from RCCA was a Fox that had a set of skis made out of Jetfire's red thrusters. To this day I can still rememb...

A-Main Racing Co. Bullet (FWD/4WS RC10)
All credit goes to Gomachv for this super find. After having the smarts to link A-Main's address from the RCCA ad to an old hobby shop in Oregon Gomachv actually managed to find a local racer who ran the Bullet at a ROAR event and still had the manual.

Re: RC10 Dual Sport Mid-motor Conversion
I have a brand new RC10 Dual Sport milled chassis but I think that I will just eBay it rather than "swiss cheese" it! Since I will need a chassis that approximately 40mm longer than stock, I will most likely make my own out of aluminum. I just wanted to make sure everything was going to f...

Novak's Real 1st ESC?
I love it when I'm browsing old mag scans for a bit of info and I stumble onto something new to me, that's not even about what I was looking for. While trying to pin point what year Futaba switched to the gold and black labels on their servos I spotted this Novak ESC in the May 1984 issue of Auto RC...

Re: RC10L Wheel Question
The sticker is a red herring. The wheels were made by See's or TMS. Or made by See's and resold by TMS...I'm not positive on their relationship.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I'm pretty sure it's a Duratrax chassis. I believe you can tell by the number of screw holes along the side of the chassis...Duratrax had 6 on each side, while CC/Parma had 4 (might've been 5) on each side.

Re: Bantam Midget
the original Bantams were developed by Dick Rehling and Bob Novak. It’s common to see them with the D&R label. This was early 70’s, not sure what year the Bantam Midget arrived. Ace was a catch all for a lot of different companies that went out or sold out. That article is a cool read. I just f...
