Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
#1 Kyosho Circuit 20 (Rowdy Baja, etc.) front shock tower.
#2 Thought it was a Hot Trick Grasshopper front shock tower but it's not. Maybe it's for a Futaba FX10.
#3 Dunno...looks like a front upper brace for an 8th scale buggy.
#4 Tamiya Road Wizard rear pod brace and wing mounts.
#5 No idea.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Danomite sent me a link here, he said this is the only other one he has seen http://www.rcchopshop.com/hottrick/woobergoober.html And I can tell you that through about 6-8 hours of e-research, that link was the only mention/visual of an EX-10 that I found while looking to purchase, just running eve...

Re: Pro Series 704B brushed motor
Yeah, these motors were imported to, and sold in, the US by Polk Hobbies under their Aritso-Craft brand. You can find adverts for them in some 1988 issues of the RCCA scans that give an RPM rating, and what class of RC the motors were meant for. The 704B was for off-road buggies, and had an RPM rati...

A mid motor set up like the Bullet or Maxxum would need to raise the motor, and that raises the center of gravity. Or, an alternative to raising the mo...

Re: RC10 front-wheel drive buggy concept reimagined in 2023
My understanding is that the trailing arm set up on cars like the Ryuz buggy, and that Orb was to counteract the understeer characteristics of fwd set-ups with the oversteer characteristics of trailing arms. On modern high-bite carpet tracks trailing arms might not be as necessary. I've often read i...

Re: Looking for specs on some of the early Bolink motors
I got one of those awhile back, and put it in my Challenger. It was NIP, but had surface rust on the can....I had to remove (then reapply) the label to clean it.
Info on the header card was BL-4000 Stock 05 Motor.
