Re: So, what did you do RC today?
They actually work really well. The shock tools should be in the shock bag, I'm pretty sure I remember the re-releases all coming with them. Wouldn't surprise me if they stopped though

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
Oregon coast was the best part about Oregon. My work used to send me to the coast once or twice a week, usually Newport or Pacific City, and often if my day was short I would take the long way home driving all the way north to Astoria and then highway 30 home. It added some serious drive time but wa...

Re: Parts You Never Knew Existed
Along the same lines as the first post, did you know that Kyosho used to make glue on spikes?

Re: Parts You Never Knew Existed
Here is one that I didn't know existed until fairly recently. Kyosho made wheel adapters to use their wheels on the RC10 (not at all unlike the piece that we produce). I'm told they made servo bellcrank shafts for rc10 as well but I have yet to ever see a pic.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
Chased the 4014 for a little ways today. It was a couple hours from home and my timing was bad, almost missed it. Literally parked as it was coming around for the bend. Ended up stopping at the bend for a quick lube job

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
It lives in Cheyenne Wyoming which isn't too terribly far but it just ran a excursion to Cali and back. It's getting ready to head east for a few stops next There is a tracker that shows where she is currently https://www.up.com/heritage/steam/track/index.htm And this webpage shows it's upcoming sch...

Re: Factory Works Ten4.1 project
Several have asked about white parts. They are not as strong as the new pa12 black pieces, but it seems several are building cars for the shelf so I ordered in some white sla parts. I also added the front CVDs for short arm builds however they haven't arrived yet. The new platform won't require anyt...

Re: Futaba MC-111B
Yellow is positive and blue is negative. I don't think reverse was proportional I want to say it was like 30% power with no variable, the pot adjusts where the brake stops and the reverse starts. Not like most where you have brake for a few seconds then reverse or brake on the first pump and reverse...

Re: Futaba MC-111B
Much thanks for that! Exactly what I needed to know. Would not have guessed that was yellow and not brown or earth. Now I can get back to this project with peace of mind. Thanks again! I was thinking of the Tamiya motor wires which are yellow and green, the esc is more of an orange I guess.

Re: Futaba FP-MC111B ESC
Usually when they blow it's nothing or wot all the time. Follow the instructions step by step on setting the pots and you might be just fine.

Re: Futaba FP-MC111B ESC
Also, It almost looks like the esc is plugged into the battery slot? Channel one is steering and two is throttle ....
