Re: for those not on Facebook... injection molded parts rolling out
Not sure about those places but team KNK carries the FanRc molded parts and they are good people (and the prices are quite affordable!) https://teamknkhardware.com/668-fan-rc Not any more. I wonder what happened. Who is carrying FanRC RC10 parts now? EDIT: Okay, I found it. That link doesn't work. ...

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
I recently bought some Polypropylene (PP) filament , the type of plastic used for Tuperware food storage containers . Reason being I was pretty sure it's what was used for PB Mini Mustang suspension components , I'm even more sure now . I'd seen a few YouTube tutorials on printing with it and althou...

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
Just printed this Mini Mustang bumper mount in PP , entirely printed on support material , I thought it would be a thorough test of how hard it would be to remove the support material , I was pleasantly surprised , while it's not the easiest it was not as bad as I expected and the print surface afte...

Re: What Speed Controllers Were Available Circa 1980?
In the late 1970’s Electro Craft had an ESC that gained popularity at the NORCAL 1/12 electric racing series in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. I think Electro Craft was based nearby in San Jose. They had a fast sponsored driver named Steve Betts. As I recall they had some overheating and ...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
There was one made by a local company in Beaverton Oregon called C&J Racing. Pretty sure they were one of the first with slightly angled sides. Came in purple and black, made them for RC10GT and Nitro Hawk. Edit- after zooming in I can see some purple around the screws. Might well be a C&J ...

Just another Andy’s Pro buggy build thread
IMG_0842.jpeg I’m new to the whole build thread thing but I like this car enough that it should be fun to document. I’ve been collecting Andy’s parts for a while and have several builds near completion. This one I thought was complete until I saw last years BOTY winner and the effort that went into...

A quick visualisation of the chassis components of the Mercury 4Xi using Fusion360 web visualisation tools. This looks quite well organized (compared to the same view for other cars) https://i.imgur.com/Qc9crOw.jpg This morning, I got some news from down under (Australia), where my friend Johann did...
