My Father's Day gift to myself.

I've stumbled upon something interesting tonight. The gear diff assembly for the Kyosho Dirt Master will drop right into the Axial/Austar/Injora transmission cases. The Kyosho diff is the same width, tooth pitch and tooth count as the stock diff-less gear. All that is required are a couple 10x16x4mm...

Factory Works steering fitted. Thanks Jeff! Still have to get turnbuckles of the right length. Stickered up reveal shots. I won't use the Coyote wheels and tyres on this build. They're only in these shots to prop the car up. I will use black wheels though.

I have some brush motors coming soon as well, starting with 12x1 and 17x1, they will be chrome can instead of the black though. I ordered one and it arrived today, printed a pair of bearing adapters cause who has 10x16 bearings on hand lol. Fits and works well! silly question but often overlooked- do you know for fact that it isnt the diff slipping? When you hold both tires and spin the slipper gear, the nut MUST not move. If it turns with the gear then its the diff slipping. Well, if that was a silly question, I am the silly guy that needed to hear it......
