Yokomo “corally” yz10

Hi guys and dolls here’s my finished yokomo yz10 it was a pleasure to do this as I normally only restore Tamiya’s but I’ve been after one of these for a good few years and finally I have one and it looks rather special I think you’ll agree!! It came to me here in the UK from Jakob a guy in Denmark s...

Re: Car#9 RC10LSS ‘IDENTITY CRISIS’

Servo mounted RX mounted battery no slip pads installed and body 80% fitted, waiting on my pink antenna mast and pink PURE-TECH battery straps I realized the neon yellow ones I ordered are just a tad to long  https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/ww227/derbed70/3/CABB4351-CC9F-4F02-A791-98E90C...

(almost...) new built JRX-Pro SE

Howdy yall long time no speak. Lots of RC as both my kids race with me now, both on- and off-road... we don't race that much, but the amount of prep/maintenance to keep >6 cars running (plus the bashers to goof around in the yard) especially when the yougsters don't understand these things just plai...

Re: Shodog's 10L project

I couldn’t locate a Porsche 962 body that fits this chassis. The 962 I did find is 200mm and will work better on a Tamiya F103 GT chassis. Luckily I was able to get a couple of bodies in the size I needed from Andy’s. A Mercedes sauber body. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/Andys%20b...

Re: It begins for A1003 reproduction

Hey, this year I am going to try and get the ball rolling again. I will have some other financial obligations paid. But we shall see with current world events. As for Shapeways, it all depends who is driving and if you it things. Back in the day I did A1003 and A1101 Bulkhead at Shapeways and they l...

Re: i know it s an LXT classic, but ...

Who knew back when I had a pile of these and was giving them away they would be come so hard to come by. I would pay a machinist for a nice aluminum one. In the meantime when you find one run the factory works front brace. You need to get longer pins, LOSA602 and LOSA5017 are options and probably o...

Re: Lonestar's TRX-1 build chronicles... [more pics and vid P3]

I can't believe it's been 10 years already since I got involved in this... it's insane  The good news is, I still have it and I still love this car dearly. And I still run it once in a while, last time just a few days ago. Just wanted to share a couple of pics of the car, dirty like it should...

Re: It's starting now (Apr2020)... CWF (tub) and Shiny RC10

As said, I had an issue with the transmission case. At first assembly, the clearance between the internal slipper and motor plate looked very tiny. When tightening the slipper (with the wrong spring for now, see my other thread  ), the transmission would bind. After a few dissassemblies and rea...
