The car to me is just not complete unless it has full electronics including the battery. I try to use a functioning battery but am ok with a display only one if I am going with period correctness. I like to have the car ready to charge and go if I want to run slow laps around the office.

Hmm, never saw that before. :shock: The axle will need replacing since it's an old Bolink steel type and bent anyhow...

Some time ago I came across an Ebay listing for an old Hyperdrive car. The seller mentioned it was an old National record holder in its day. I was interested but let it pass and moved on. The listing was removed so I figured it sold long ago. Then a year or so later, it shows back up on Ebay so this...
