Re: Kyosho Scale Car Series Jaguar X220 resto
Another Kyosho model I never knew existed. ... and you appear to have an NOS body shell for it. Very cool!!!
The spring preload adjuster collars are similar to the ones on my vintage motorcycles. I've never seen those used on any other RC.
I'm very much looking forward to the next update.

Re: jwscab's Cliff Lett ROAR 90 replica
it's a roller now! I stuck in on my lathe under LED lights, the fluorescent ones just put yellow on everything.
On to electronics and then eventually paint. That last part might take a little while

Re: Kyosho Scale Car Series Jaguar X220 resto
Nice fix to fabricate that missing part. I also find myself doing that a lot, cutting up leftover parts and stuff to make other parts. I'd rather find a way to make something I need rather than spend money to buy it...because usually these vintage parts are ludicrously expensive or impossible to fin...

Re: jwscab's Cliff Lett ROAR 90 replica
So from the start I knew this guy was only going to be about 95% accurate due to the difficulty or price for some items. So this is all up, the chassis is finished with electronics. There are things that are just a bit off, but good enough for me. On to the paint, which should be fun. I beleive ther...

Re: 25 YEARS OF THE RC10 (See page 1)
Thank you for your help guys! They let me back in and all the correct manual links now work. I'm not sure why AE needed to change or move the PDF files for some of the cars, but now everything is in order! I hope to do more in the near future, Late TQ10,Late Worlds, B3 and the B4's. On side note, I ...

Not dead
Hey guys. It's been a while! I am still alive and well, just needed a break from RC cars due to other priorities. I started autocrossing my '55 bug and have been really focused on it, plus family, camping, off-roading... You know how it goes! I have been messing around a bit here and there with the ...

Re: RC28 modding
I've also been working on an aluminum chassis for the 1:28 scale cars. I made a quick prototype by hand, it's seems pretty feasible and I think looks great. The compoenets I designed for the gold pan version above would pretty much apply to this one, with a few small changes and additions. Tracing t...

Re: Mid-motor B1, B4, B6 V2
This set of pics all look fairly similar to each other but there are incremental changes from the last post. Legit ball stud spacers (9630) instead of placeholder washers. 9577 inline steering blocks installed. 1" wide wheels clearance is good and 3/4" wide wheels is plenty. New 8442b axel...
