Re: Maxxum FF to the lineup

It's at moments like that when you just have to resist the urge of reaching down and quickly snaping her neck , it's hard but wives just need to be tolerated at times

Re: Maxxum FF to the lineup

Really cool looking buggy! Classic motor too. Wish kyosho had just used platinum shocks though. Where is the steering servo? I couldn't see it in picks. The steering servo is located under the speed controller. Not the best linkage though. Yes, platinum or better up, the gold shocks (they were alre...

Re: Yokomo 870C 2.2 Narrow Front Wheels Available.

I got a set of their new RC10 B2 2.2 wheels with narrow fronts recently. They look really good but the front bearings are really sloppy in the wheel. :(

I got a set of their new RC10 B2 2.2 wheels with narrow fronts recently. They look really good but the front bearings are really sloppy in the wheel. :( Could the poor fitment in the wheels be a case of mixing millimeters and inches on the bearings? Pretty sure these wheels uses 3/16” X 3/8” bearin...

Re: First time RC12L resto.

I don't know what motor is appropriate, but I'd say that it deserves a Reedy motor. Putting anything else in it would be blasphemy.

Re: First time RC12L resto.

Wow... Introduced in 1984? I came late to the party cause I got mine in 91 or 92....I remember dropping a stock 27 turn motor...I believe it was a Joel Johnson. It was fast because I was running a matched sanyo nicad red 6 cell saddle pack. I loved that little car 🥰

Re: First time RC12L resto.

I think, and it was a long time ago... but I think they ran 4 cell SCE and modified motors at the track I grew up on and a Black Magic was the motor to have. I'm not sure which one though. The Dominators ran 7 cell mod and the 12Ls turned just a couple laps less in 4 minutes. It was a small track to...

Re: First time RC12L resto.

A Race Prep motor may also be a nice choice against the white and orange you have now. 8) I shouldn't have been looking at this. Now I have an itching for one myself. And not the usual itch I get that requires a special shampoo from the pharmacist.
