Re: mi 10L

well, a dream finally came true-- got to race a my 10LS. Since I first saw pancars in Competition Plus BITD, I have always dreamed of running one of these. Picked up a re-pop Bolink(?) body, slapped in a 10.5, 2S setup, and bought some BSR tires for it. This was at Barceloneta RC Complex in Barcelon...

Re: GoMachV's RC24e project

Few updates. Ended up building a new truer. This one works amazingly well and makes a lot of dust. Re: Just another Andy’s Pro buggy build thread

Had a little time today to do a little more work on the car. I received the TPS shock pivots so I installed those on the MIP shocks. Put some black AE ball cups on the turnbuckles and got the front end on the car. I did use a set of Andy’s front axles. I also changed out the Andy’s castor blocks tha...

Re: GoMachV's RC24e project

What does ROWR stand for !?!? On the first box I made it for myself and it said team associated. Well "they" didn't like that, understandably, so I changed it. Just to make sure I wasn't stealing a fake victory too I decided to change it from ROAR to ROWR so there would be no confusion th...

Re: Just another Andy’s Pro buggy build thread

Another little update today. I’ve been debating on whether to pull the FT blue shock caps as they didn’t come on the market until late 90s and aren’t really correct on this car. I really like the looks of them and have a few sets on different models that they really shouldn’t be on. In the end a goo...

Re: 870c ReRe?

I'll have one on the factoryworks website once I'm able to compare the rere to the original

Re: 870c ReRe?

Once we have a look at the rere and verify they didn't move too much stuff around we should be able to offer those

Re: TQ10 resto

Good ideas, thanks! I tested a semi-gloss paint pen and the results look decent. I'll test the Birchwood stuff, too, as I have a few other things in the safe that could use some touch up. 20240117_180941.jpg Inspecting some nylon to see which is the prettiest... I may need to peroxide a few pieces a...

Yokomo 870c white ZC-407C "holy grail" nylon a-arm set

Here are some relatively rare Yokomo 870c white nylon suspension arms. I'm tempted to replace the black arms with these.
As close to Jesus' legendary cup as there is :)

Re: 870c ReRe?

Wow what a great build. Nothing too tight or too loose. Everything there, although at times I was thinking man an extra eclip or screw here and there wouldn't hurt haha. The spine is very weak, 1mm thick g10 and flexes like crazy. First thing on the drawing board will be an upper brace. They used yr...

Re: 870c ReRe?

Here is mine with our 89 Masami conversion added. Not a lot of room with old school cells for sure. Tried adding the lipo to the other side but just not enough room even with the shorty servo. Ended up leaving it in the stock rere location.

Re: TQ10 resto

The aluminum black is working pretty well. I'll need to hit the edges again, but happy so far. Thanks for the suggestion. 20240203_102439.jpg Blued the axles and dogbones also. 20240203_103034.jpg Filling the poorly drilled stealth holes with epoxy. I'm definately not a body work pro.
