Re: The 'Holiest' of Holy Grails AGI Jammer Build
One question about flipping the gearbox around to do a mid motor. Isn't a reverse rotator motor needed, or a 0 degree timing motor that can be run reverse polarity for driving forward? I've always flipped the top shaft direction when I do a mid motor to keep motor rotation in the normal direction. ...

Re: Jammin Jay RC10
Pinned diff, nice!
In the early days, they were just drilling and tapping the RC10 hubs, but used the notched diff rings from Bud's. Page 6/12 explains this.

Re: Jammin Jay RC10
Hardened stuff generally should be ground or filed instead of drilled. Just gotta be careful not to overheat it as you risk warping them. The jammin jay kit is perfect though!

my final Ten4.1, a CC build
For the last Ten4.1 I decided to go a little different route by adding CC to the end of it 😉. The clear parts are just my regular ten4.1 parts but printed with a clear resin. The clear parts are not strong, but they will look great on the shelf. I may offer very limited numbers of the clear parts bu...

Zenith Bulldog -Electronic Speed Control with an odd twist
Picked these up off eBay thinking they were interesting but discovered something else really cool about them. I worked at a major hobby shop about a block from their shop. I am going to reach out to my old employer and see if there was a relationship, as I believe there may have been based on the fa...

Re: Another OS Engine overhaul......
Engine stripped bare ready for cleaning, it actually came apart pretty easy with the exception of the crank which required a little persuasion and persistence. 20250126_230839.jpg I love these parts shakers, the only thing better would probably be an ultrasonic cleaner. Maybe I should invest in one ...

Re: Another OS Engine overhaul......
To save all the boring bits here is the engine all cleaned ready for reassembly 20250126_231819.jpg Bearings, crank, piston and liner all assembled, it doesn't look like this engine has had much use. 20250126_232026.jpg This was new to me, looks like OS changed one way bearings at some stage. This o...

Re: Another OS Engine overhaul......
Without going into too much detail here's the restored 10C slide carb. This came out fantastic! 20250126_233650.jpg Just like new 20250126_233600.jpg And the engine basically finished..... The CV isn't a terribly good engine as the liner is ABN instead of ABC, but it still looks nice and they were v...

Second Chance LXT
A hundred years ago I picked up an LXT after winning the outdoor track championship with a composite craft RC10T. Couple sponsored guys had come to our track and just beat me everywhere with their trucks when they came so I figured there must be something to that truck. Being a teen. I sold my 10T a...
