Re: Scr8p's Worlds Re-re #3 / Modern Kinwald Replica- '93 Worlds

Thanks guys.

I finished 2nd yesterday in the classic class with my Tamiya Manta Ray. Had a great battle for the lead, but caught the pipe with like 40-45 sec left and couldn't catch back up. I'll update that build thread later.

Re: Novak receiver wire gauge?

Sandkill The twisted wires appear to be 28ga. on my T-4. If a wire chart can be believed, one of the possible combinations of 28ga = 19strands/40ga Concentric I measured individual strand diameter at .003" very close to 40 ga My strand count was 18 but I could have lost a strand, pretty small s...

Re: Tamiya Super Astute rere "Operation Blackout"

I've used the birchwood Casey ally black a lot and its not easy to get consistent results , the parts need to be super clean and even be rubbed over with wire wool just before application , it acts fast so be ready with a bowl of water or you just get a sooty deposit that rubs off easily , it can be...

Nice late black rc10 worlds

Picked up this nice late black all original rc10 worlds. I'm going to add some different tires, titanium turnbuckles and white arm mounts since it has white stealth case.

RC10 with gear diff

Hello All, By replacing RC10 stock bulkhead with NIX63231 bulkhead, you'll be able to mount RC10B4 transmission to your RC10 tub or carbon chassis. You don't even need RC10 Stealth transmission holes as this one mounts to stock bulkhead holes and rear holes of classic 6-gear transmission. There's no...

Re: 1:8 Kyosho 4246 Williams Renault FW14 EP

Yeah, it seems unlikely it would go 5 minutes with two motors - but it might be twice the fun. :D Anyway, I'm looking at these on ebay right now. Apparently they made them in 1/10 scale as well - no cantilever shocks or independent suspension however so I'll just pass on them. If it were mine, I cou...

Re: 1:8 Kyosho 4246 Williams Renault FW14 EP

That is a really cool piece of machinery. I like that front Shock setup. With a single modern brushless motor that car would really fly.

Re: 1:8 Kyosho 4246 Williams Renault FW14 EP

Greeaaat, ANOTHER thing I need!
That thing is frickin' SICK! I would put a hot brushless motor on there and a mega battery, but that's just me. An original restoration I can also appreciate. :D

Re: 1:8 Kyosho 4246 Williams Renault FW14 EP

They did have 1/10 scale. There were both the simple F1 pan cars you probably saw and a series of realistic F1/Indy car/GTP cars. They had great detail in the suspension.
