Edit: How did most run the brakes on the GT? The manual says you want a touch of brakes applied at idle, but did most have it setup to have progressively more braking past the trigger neutral position, or did it mainly get most of the braking done when the throttle was returned to idle? I know thes...

Re: Blasphemous T2 .4 Racer

That looks wicked. I think the T2 is a bit under rated, but I'm a bit biased though

Re: ** POS Runner of the Month - June 2025 **

Here's my early Nitro Sport. I've always wanted to convert it into a Rustler. I used to hit the biggest dirt jumps I could find as fast as I could hit them, jumped off cliffs, attempted epic high speed drifts, and it even ended up in the San Francisco Bay at one point. Upgrades include a heavy duty ...

Re: How to install brushed motor armature

Look for how many wires are wrapped around the armature crown, just be careful not to count on the section where they overlap.

Battery bugs were popular for NiCd.

Many used to drill a cavity in the brush and stuff a bit of cotton in it with comm drops.

Re: Vintage Sanyo Batteries

Generally if NiCd's aren't leaking they are still viable. NiCd's also cope with being in a long/deep discharge state.

People do collect old cells and yours look like they'll clean up well.

Re: Tamiya Championship Series

I've got a Tamiya TQ Certificate with my name on it somewhere and this bronze medal from a Bay Area TCS round.

I was leading half race, flipped over after clipping a corner too tight, dropped to 5th and fought my way back to 3rd. Good memories.
