Re: New Works 91 Project

Will be watching this with keen interest. Love the Lipo specific chassis, if I ever build a runner I am definitely going to do a 91’! The Pavidis themed paint job on the body is also awesome, love it!

Re: Graphite RC10 with fuzzy dice

An absolute thing of beauty….could you slow down on your builds, I’m starting to feel like a slacker over here (my RC10GX has a layer of dust on it that is making me feel bad).

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Never thought I would be this excited to get a box of a half a dozen used, old and likely half dead batteries but here we are. Living in Canada, I had to source in country as I cannot get ‘hazardous’ materials across the border (groan). These will be used to complete my 1994 box art YZ10 and my Pavid...

Re: All I want for Christmas is...

Dear Santa, It’s been awhile but just in case you read this forum, I have been a very very good boy this year ( have not strangled our CEO or flipped the bird to any bad drivers; both which took considerable restraint) and if you agree I would be forever grateful if you could secure for me a Ko Prop...

Re: How many years have you been into RC?

Good question. Off and on going on around 35 years for me. Started with a Marui Big Bear for Christmas from my folks (I asked for a Ninja but who’s counting) and then a heavy addiction into anything and everything Yokomo related starting with an 89 YZ10 and ending with a 92’ which was around the tim...

Re: 1993 WCS ‘Faux-komo’ Repo 3d printed & Non-OEM Parts

Hey sir, appreciate the outreach, I am actually waiting for a couple of orders I made over the holidays to take this project forward another step. There have been Soooo many new parts suppliers pop up with options that are better than some of the 3d print options that it allowed me to spend a bunch ...

Re: 1993 WCS ‘Faux-komo’ Repo 3d printed & Non-OEM Parts

So I totally didn’t even think about whether the front diff was 33 or 35 teeth, I just threw it in from an earlier car and perhaps that is why the belt doesn’t fit lol (ordered a 33T one so we shall see!) also got the first of a couple deliveries and can wait to finally update this build! (Not all t...

Rubrix Racing Products - UPDATE

Hello all, Just a quick post about Rubrix Racing Products, their site/store has been down for a couple of days now. I connected with the owner and learned that he had an issue with the existing website provider and is in the midst of switching things over to a new vendor. New website - www.RUBRIXRC....

Re: Yokomo 870c white ZC-407C "holy grail" nylon a-arm set

I would really (and I mean really) dislike seeing you have to open that bag. You are right, there cannot be many left and even fewer that are still wrapped up…….BUTTTT If you want an alternative, I have had these floating around for years, honestly, until today didn’t realize they were that rare….th...

Re: 1993 WCS ‘Faux-komo’ Repo 3d printed & Non-OEM Parts

Well RUBRIX came through and sent me a package allowing me to take another step forward. The rear 3d printed diff cap/cover was getting dirty from laying around and Fan RC is making some great repo injection molded (? Is that what is is called?) replacements so it allowed me to do some minor updates...

Hi Noopy, I am sending you a PM.

P.S. if it is, you have to post some pictures of your project, can’t just drop in for parts :) sorry, it’s the rules.

Re: Your top Three Vintage Keepers (by manufacturer)

Oh that is a tough question and one I may have to potentially contemplate in the near future…but I have the collection split into shelf queens that I would find hard to let go and a lot of basket cases that could go tomorrow…if I wasn’t attempting to restore every single basket case I came across! S...
