Yokomo Works '91 Drescher Edition

Hello all, I present to you my freshly restored Yokomo Works ‘91 Drescher Edition. Most of you will know that Yokomo did not make a Drescher Edition and it is in fact a Yokomo Works ’91 with a conversion kit centred around a change in front suspension geometry designed by Craig Drescher and CML (muc...

Re: hydrogen peroxide, am I missing something?

I have no clue if thats actually true but I dont know where to get anything over 3%.
No, stronger solutions don't hurt the parts. 20-50% stuff can be found at beauty supply shops. I have not seen anything stronger than 50% anywhere.

Re: Yokomo 870C - Masami style NIB build project documentat

Finally found some time to attach the rear wing and body. For now i used the repro decals that are available on eBay, despite them being a little bit too large in size. Up next will be a wide front end, lunsford vintage turnbuckles, spur gear adapter and a few updated bits here and there. IMG_0875.j...

Re: TRX-1 Ready for Refurb

Almost done, but still trying to figure out what to do about tires. Pro Trax tires just don't exist anymore... I might have to settle for some Radicator stepped pins, but I'd really hate to go that route. *shrug* I also still need to hunt down some new shock caps that are the period-correct blue. Mi...

Re: Who owns every generation RC10?

/With the rich history of the RC10, it's a bit hard to define what "every generation" means, really, as there have been so many "transitional" versions... do you make a difference between the early edinger and the edinger? Or, do you consider all gold-panned, 6G short front arms ...

Re: Kyosho Turbo Burns - New Rebuild

Great build so far. I have similar tower hobbies memories. For me, I was 15 and drooling over the original Burns. It's advertised 50 mph out of the box was unbelievable. In my opinion, the Burns series was one of the most iconic 1/8 nitro buggies. Decades later I did end up with an Inferno during m...
