Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Reassembled 57 after making the measurements I needed and took a few pics with it and it's big brother. Also started messing with the printers again so I can start printing parts again

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Printer is still being a pain, apparently it partially clogged part way through the test print. But I am much happier with this shape.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
I understand this is taking the details to a dumb level, but does anyone have ste skill to design up a direct mount spur gear like the original losi spurs without the slipper? I admit I haven't got the skills or ability to design a gear at the moment :) And second, if I manage to find a way to get a...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Oh I have recently acquired a resin 3d printer, and a spur gear should look nice off of it even if it is not really functional. As for style either would work, I want to put it on the junior.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Well... Hmm. I went to try to adjust things to make the steering bellcranks clear everything better, I figured the Mini Jrx2 steering posts were too short knowing the molded posts were taller. So I measured everything and did up some models. The Mini Jrx2 posts are technically taller even than the m...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
With leaky carts this will keep oil in the shock long term lol I am still waiting on printer parts, upgrading my ender 3 pros to 4.2.7 main boards and adding the cr touch kits to them. I did buy a new vintage car on ebay myself... well used. Almost looks like someone found it in a closet from their ...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
I see I'm not the only one that has way too many of these. I think my current mini count is 4 JRX2 and 3 JRXT. Oh I plan to have 7 (or 8 but that 8th one is dumb lol) by the time I am done, one for each model based on the jrx2 ;) I added a thin nut under my ball studs now the steering doesn't snag,...

Got in my new test subjects, they don't seem too willing but they have no choice! Muahahaha -evil scientist laughter-
The camera adds 10 layers of dirt to the dirty one heh.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
I wanted to print some orange antenna mounts so um.. yeah
https://cults3d.com/:1327190
one slotted for easier antenna mounting.
...oops, used the 3d model I had made of the rc10 antenna mount before I adjusted the holes for antenna tube, was an easy fix.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Hey you two…. NEXT…..  E0C7EE35-2245-4A58-92CF-B16A75511395.jpeg That should be easy enough making an outer slipper plate that resembles a hydra drive, I have faith in Rogue over there :) Biggest issue actually might be the spur gear cover won't fit anymore, it should be easy enough to ...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Mini SE is coming along well, it only has one steering post though the screw stripped trying to take one off one of the donors. I am in the process of printing rear hubs at the moment. Those front arms are a pain heh. I plan to print a grey retro case for it to match the lxt. I am also considering f...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
The rear shocks on the se are the xl shocks and not the long shocks. The same as the pro and lxt rear shocks, only the juniors and the x2 and xT have the standard long shocks on the back. I did up a quick modeling of the long and xlong shock bodies in Tinkercad as well as a model of the long mini sh...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Damn you A-Main... I now own 1/2500 of them... one of them is being turned into a jrx pro... was worth it when tires are $25 a pair and backordered, chassis is $28 and backordered, shocks are $20 a pair, driveline is $24, building a transmission is on the far side of $60, and all the hardware... now...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Seeing as I have one each of the 10th scale cars I am going to to some measurements to get the shock lengths as close to right eye to eye for the xl shock cars, the lengths are going to be different as the models build with different numbers of spacers in them, lxt rear is too long for the ProSE and...
