Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

I feel it's due to the environment here. There isn't that many months a year of nice/warm weather, so you get accustomed to doing regular activities in less than favorable conditions.

Re: New Build - NIB B2 Japan Export

Alright chassis is together! PXL_20241008_124310872_C46nFyGI9L.jpeg PXL_20241008_124331431_2X3eGqbF2O.jpeg First white part is a silly one, but I dig it! Rear hub spacer. It was black in my later B2 kit back in the day. PXL_20241008_124351830_14L3qcwv01.jpeg Time to build the best shocks in the indu...

Could it be that whacky Traxxas Snap-on 1920's Sprint Car Replica that is totally, wholly, and solely manufactured and distributed by Traxxas and only Traxxas?
That's the one!

@TRX-1-3 : you're next.

Re: Did you ever or do you race now?

Something about dirt, tires, motor spray, solder flux, hot electronics smells all mixed together...you know what I'm talking about. If it was a candle scent it would be called "at the track". Very true. I recently bought some discontinued tires off eBay, NIP. When they arrived they smelle...

Let's open it up in the future to a vehicle that you don't necessarily own, I was just hoping it would make people offer more factual info if it was in front of them. Sometimes memories of what people say 30 years ago in person and not since are groggy.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Been getting progress done on a buddy's Team car he's had since about '91-'92. Old plastic servo saver just shat the bed and made for a good stopping point I suppose. Unfortunately, his 30+ year old Topaz is alotta bit weak and only turns around 24k rpm at 7.2 volts after being cleaned up nice with ...

Re: New Build - NIB B2 Japan Export

Alright, we're in the home stretch! I'm getting excited and sad as I get close to wrapping this up. I've really enjoyed this trip back in time, and now that I've done my two favorite cars from my time racing, I'm not sure anything else will come close for me. Now that the majority of the chassis is ...

Re: New Build - NIB B2 Japan Export

I must keep running into post picture limits. Just needed a few more to wrap up today's progress. For the tires, I have to thank jcwrks for trading me for the correct fronts. Rears will prove to be a bit more challenging, but until I can track down the Flat Stubbies, a set of XTR Pro-82's will take ...
