Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

A Dean's plug works nice for three wire connections. There is one wire on each side of the terminal, instead of trying to splice them.

Although not really vintage or particularly dirty, here's my contribution.

Caring for vintage tires in 2022 and beyond

So what are the best ways to care for old vintage tires? I have many display vehicles and would like to keep them from cracking and falling apart for years to come. What do you do for your tires? I once used automative spray (to keep belts and automotive rubber parts) from cracking. I recently came ...

Re: In flight pictures

Got a few of mine getting some air. Since I'm mainly a Monster Truck guy gettin air is the thing I enjoy the most. First three pics are of my custom built 1/5 scale tube chassis truck I finished last year. At 51lbs when it lands from 6ft of air it makes quite a "thump" on the ground  ...

Nostalgia Made Me Do It - Nitro Hawk

Picked up my 3rd Nitro Nawk. I had no choice. Nostalgia got the best of me! The Nitro Chicken was my first nitro, and first stadium truck as a teenager. Mine was an early gen-1 with Image engine and aluminum recoil housing. Man I loved that truck! Faster than the Hornet, Raider, and RC10 I had befor...

Tamiya Grasshopper II "4WD Black Special"

This is my 4WD iteration of the Grasshopper II in "Black Special" edition. The aftermarket shocks which I had laying around were a nice fit, with a level ride height, and plenty of travel. I little bit more heavy shock oil (currently 45 wt) in the rear and I think this will make for a fun ...

Re: What your workstation looks like?

Got some "desk mods" on the work station. I was tired of having to go to the shed every time I needed a vise. I looked at several of the smaller "clamp on" types but they all looked like garbage (the reviews confirmed it). So I went with a Irwin drill press vise and some JLC Prod...
