Stripped the old worn anodizing off, prepped, painted and cleared the Traxxas SRT motor guard & plate. Now need to wet sand and buff. Really liking this color.

Yeah I’ll be using a modem remote for my JRxT runner with a modern Hw ESC and 13.5 so no worry’s there, but still looking for a Reedy Mr A or B for my RC10T so will want that to be correct-ish looking… Not a purist and neither are exact replicas so don’t care for the old radios hahahah...

I think the idea of the water bath is to prevent arching between comm segments and flush away any carbon deposits.
