I will venture to say that I'm like 99% positive that someone lifted the stealth trans out of that CE. All the other pieces fit for it to have had one originally.

Had a little time to play around with my new mini spot welder. Made up some cells to fit into a Tamiya hump pack. It is such a tight fit in the case that I hade to remove the skins from the cells, and only insulate where needed, so that is why it looks all trashy with the tape. It will look just fin...

Got my Hilux battery pack all glued back together, and made up new stickers for it. It wasn't until after I got the stickers on that I was reminded that the case is actually embossed with Ni-Cd and 1200mAh, which contradicts the stickers, but oh well. For a 40 year old battery, it looks pretty good.

Soldered up a 10W 30ohm resistor, and started cycling some 1400mah SCR's.
