Recently picked this 10T up… Am I correct in thinking that this is one of the last runs of the original 10T design? Chassis is a C stamp and has all black parts as you can see.

That high of ratio ehh? I was thinking around 21-22t. It’s. Reedy radon 15t motor
The original 10T has a 2.25:1 transmission ratio, while newer trucks have 2.4 or 2.6 ratios. So you can't directly compare the pinion size to that of newer trucks....
I can't seem to get an answer from JConcepts so I thought I would ask here. I bought the JConcepts RC10GT Authentic Body - 6131 and I did not realize it did not come with decals, and my question is what decals are supposed to be used with this...

Hi
Thanks, I was looking at the MCI decals before posting but didn't know for sure if those were the ones I would need. As for the other body I'm planing on getting would I need to get the MCI 1/10TH ASSOCIAT - RC10 T3 / GT3 DECALS?
Composite Craft #10210 RC10T Pro Mod Double Decker Set. This is the version of the chassis I have wanted for a long time. I love the lines of the lower deck, and upper deck, which extends all the way forward and mounts with a custom brace. I feel...

I would also wote for the green shocks. The black shocks are nice, but I think you're losing more of the identiy of the car. Also, all of a sudden the entire setup turned very modern with the black ones.

Skinny tires and cut windows. Now it needs a windshield banner to cover up the scratch I made.
Does anyone still make 2.2 aggressive knobby ST tires? I'm looking for something similar to the old Tracktagators, I'm not having any luck finding any descant big knobby tires.

I remember seeing the TracTaGators in the catalogs back in the day, and how ridiculous they were to me even as a kid. Never forgot the name though!
It looks like there was a broken aluminum screw that broke and someone tried to remove. Unfortunately it looks like someone tried to drill it out but the screw is partially there. For the hole i was thinking a out trying a 4-40 heat insert but...

Wow! I wonder if it would cause any issues with residue if I put a steel screw back into the hole after? There must be some sort of neutralizer that can be put on it after.

This started as a very inexpensive purchase. I decided to keep it that way but not investing a ton of parts.

I have a RC10GT and I need to get replacement front axle nuts but the manual is not clear on the size I need to get. I can't find them locally so I have to order them, so are they 6-40 or 5-40, the manual shows both as the size.

And don't over-tighten them. The threaded section will snap off.
I have shared some photos of this in another thread years ago, but since then I've done more work to it. This is my RC10GT blue chassis I bought new like 20 years ago.

Thanks for posting that chart I was looking for something like that. I'm also building a E-GT and almost done, just need some electrics and to paint the body.
First off let me be clear. This is not mine. It could be. It may not be, but before it may quietly go into the rc abyss I figured I should get the pictures and question up. 07D367C1-490E-413C-9387-8FF502D8DED1.jpeg...

RPM didn't have a truck bulkhead that accepted nose tubes. The one you have is it, so ultra molded or carbon chassis is about it.

I have been in RC for a long time and only have for the love of the hobby. I knew I had a couple of old car/truck stored but haven't had a reason to get them out because I run the modern ones. I came across the RC10 DS I got for one of my sons back...

Its awesome that you are looking to update a very very cool car, the RC10DS.
Ive restored three electric DS cars with Castle Creation's Sidewinder 3 brushless motor/esc combo units and was totally happy with performance.
Spent some time at jwscab's house yesterday. My wife's car was at the dealership for service and it's real close to his place. On the way home I decided to swing in to the hobby shop in side a farmers market to see the owner. I've known him since I...
My RC10GT brushless conversion still has the original slipper. The spur gear is kind of wobbly as the assembly doesn't sit perfectly against the split pin, and the clutch is a very narrow thin ring around the perimeter of the clutch pad with very...

As the title says, I'm looking for the RC10T kit #7035 manual. PDF copy is good. Please let me know if you have one available or know where to find it. I've had no luck with google.

Since you already have #2 pistons in the front/rear maybe bring a #1 piston rear with 30 - 32wt and a #3 front with 30 - 32wt for some quick tuning options.

I planed on doing a simple rebuild with a new engine and modern electronics. This is my second r/c from when I was 17 so it was in storage since about 2000. I bought it as a new roller off a neighbor kid. I put my Traxxas Pro .15 in it that I took...

I just use a shock shaft with a downstop limiter under the piston and pull it. I'll normally go back with a nut driver or similar tool to make sure it is seated properly.
