Ok the rules are pretty simple:
Every $5.00 that you donate to the site counts as 1 entry. Send $10.00, that's 2..... and so on.

A big thanks to everyone that donated for a chance at this kit.
My wife had surgery on her arm yesterday, so my honey-do list is a little longer than usual right now. But I should have everything ready to do the drawing later this week or over the...

Thanks guys! :D I had a great day. Weather here in the northeast was great yesterday and spent lots of time outside being that it was nearly 75 degrees in February.
Saturday night and now I have a reason to celebrate! Photobucket still not working on my phone so just look up the filthiest thing on the Internet and imagine I posted it here. Hope it's a good one Todd! 8)

 Nothing to be sorry about Johnny...I'm getting older everyday!
I had an idea that I could probably do myself. But I know I couldn't do it anywhere near as good as some with experience.
If you have some experience, and have some free time to do a little something maybe once every month or two, give me a...

I know I can write the crap outta nothing at all...they don't call me thread killer for nothing... but I don't think thats what scr8p is wanting so I'll just do a free thread bump on this one
I've had Yahoo mail since Al Gore invented the internet and it has gone to utter shit, I've finally had enough and looking for a new email provider. I don't want to supply my phone number or supply which side of the bed I wake up on. I'm intrigued...

I would recommend protonmail. I use it all the time. It's solid and encrypted.
How well does Protonmail work for normal day to day stuff? Can you use it for your ebay, paypal address etc?
Yeah, you can use it for anything. It's a normal e-mail...
I must have been smoking some weed of wisdom that day! I could only wish I was that talented and artistic normally. The last used timing chain from my XR250R made a great gift necklace for my wife..... Have not got any since... I don't understand! :?
Does anyone know of any tricks to refurbish a layered graphite chassis deck? For example, can a layer of epoxy be applied and sanded to fill any light scratches or nicks on the bottom?
The chassis in question are layered graphite, not woven carbon...

As with everything, it's all in the prep and products used. Every graphite chassis I have restored I use a DuPont 2322s adhesion promoter for plastic as my clear coat . It's super thin, goes on super flat and dries to a nice satin sheen. Now...

Well that's my question. I know the trx1 and the pro se bodies are swappable. Anybody know if the Jr2 and Pro SE chassis footprints are same/similar? Or any other insight is cool also.
To make a long story short a few months ago our new cat broke my wife's cake stand and we've been struggling to find one to replace it ever since. It was a large square pedestal cake stand from the Martha Stewart Collection...

That's not a bad idea, ğet a car stand and glue a plate on top so it spins
Not sure if anyone will be interested or not, but I thought maybe a thread with especially good deals on anything under the sun may be helpful. I was just going to alert evryone to this deal, but figured leaving it open to other deals made more...

Amazon has the Kindle Fire 7 for $33 today if anyone may need any gift ideas. Just thought I'd share.
This has to be one of the most boring races ever . Best of the best drivers when spins are being qualified as extremely dangerous crashes ? Total nonsense. Maybe they should start broadcasting live play of a Formula One racing game as the 2017 F1...

This has to be one of the most boring races ever .
Oh how I wish we could have rain races like this one (can't embed video; it's Spa 1998).
In 1998 teams could afford to take a complete spare car with them that drivers could use in the race, even...
Ok - enough is enough. I've used photobucket since way into the last decade, but performance has dropped so badly over the last couple of years that it's actually become totally useless. Uploading anything takes forever, linking is dog-slow, ads are...

Alex, there have been Sunday mornings when I woke up next to a lot worse mistakes than this...
On behalf of the sane portion of the general public of the United States, I'd like to go ahead and offer an apology in advance to the rest of the world for all the idiotic future things that will be done by whichever of these dingbats that happens...

That's the word going around. I don't understand what's the point of it? Like everyone isn't going to find out or something. Also, protesting isn't going to amount to anything anyway.
It makes the liberals feel like their doing something good....
Robotix... by Milton Bradley, 1980's... later turned in to learning curve , parts and kits are still being produced and sold today. Who else remembers these and has them ? I bought a $20 set off ebay last year, because it was the kit I had when I...
I love vintage mag wheels and thought I'd clean up this set. I thought this set would have been a TON of work compared to wheels I've done in the past due to their poor conition.
I thought I'd try an aluminum dioxidizer and etching acid to clean...
I recently purchased a 2.5 Liter Ultrasonic Cleaner ( from Harbor Freight Tools to clean RC parts.....boy am I glad I did....even the most dirtiest of parts will clean up in just a few cycles...what I do is place the parts in a gallon zip lock bag...

I dont know if you are aware but whatever you do seal the top down to the tank the little gap on the inside and never pour the solution from the tank out, always siphon it and wipe dry, this also keeps condensation out while the thing is running....
About a year ago I bought a $40 rtf quad from my LHS. From there I bought a couple more RTF quads and have been really enjoying them, but eventually found their limits. So I decided to take the plunge and build my own. It's a 250 size H quad set up...

That's cool. Josh and I have been doing some flying together at LRH. A lot of times when they wet down the track we'll fly while it's too wet to drive on. Helps blow dry the track too

TRX-1 has been added to the collection!!! Not sure if this will get attention before the JRX Pro SE. Let's see what parts come in first.
Wanted to know if anyone knew of any Team Associated Groups/Clubs overseas in Germany. I have been thinking it might be nice to meet up and have someone to compare and see some of the modifications in action.
So im thinking about selling a large part of my collection in the near future. Where is the best place to sell vintage RC stuff besides here? I dont like the idea of ebay robbing me of a good portion of the selling price.
What say ya'll?

Old School RC and their auction group. You can get screwed to easily on eBay.
I have a trip to Paris coming up this Fall and I was wondering if anyone can tell me about the best RC hobby shops in the city. Google lists numerous shops, but I'd love know any member preferences. Thanks in advance!

Meh... closet Francophile here, always had dream that if ever I managed to land my touristy lardass in France I'd wanna go drive thru the capital's roundabouts  in something like a 2CV, Light15 or DS  some might say it's suicidal but hey...
As some of you know, I'm a big proponent of polishing aluminum; it just looks so nice when it's done right, but it is time-consuming and needs a lot of elbow-grease to do it properly, so we sometimes cut corners and end up with less favorable...
I'm really having a difficult time finding where to purchase spray cans of Tamiya paint. My LHS says they can only get polycarbonate paint, and they only order it once a month or less... so basically they don't want my money, or maybe it's not worth...
