I ran across this article in RC Car magazine from 1993, thought you guys might like it. Jammin's car isn't the real one, but Masami's look to be real. The first page is on the bottom...

I used that CP template for quite awhile back in the day. Don't know how many A and B tubs I messed up. But back then running stock class lighter was faster.
I just picked up this magazine about a week ago. It brought back a lot of memories because I used to drool all over this buggy as a kid. I did eventually get my rc10 close to this minus some of the high dollar titanium. I wish I still had it.

Wow, I was just thinking of this article and hear it is. I can't open the pics, though. Can somebody repost them or something?
I found a stack of old gaming magazines, and scanned this ad from a September 1998 issue of Expert Gamer :

I think I remember that game? I know there is a rc game for Wii. Haven't played it though sold my Wii a while back. I'm a more traditional gamer, all thumbs. Really not into flailing my arms aroud, too much work. :P
I found some of my old pictures again from the 1996 1/10th Pro10 Worlds at Revelation Raceway Ontario/California.
These are scans of the pics from the body concourse.

The guy with the #7 body was winning concourse. Someone knows who that is?
I think this is the first ad for the RC12E. I found it in the November 1978 issue of Race Car World magazine. My first RC car was a 12E that I pre-ordered in the summer of 1978 before they were released.

Fancy turning up to a track with a speedy like that one
Special Thanks goes out to Erich Reichardt for giving me the opportunity to take and post some pics of the original!!!!! How cool is this piece of RC history. I am sure the racer truck needs no introduction, but the other...... Erich's tell me it is...

I remember seeing Cliff Lett's body forsale on ebay a few years ago. It was his 95 B2 body from the Japan Worlds and it was autographed. I wish I saved pics and won the auction. Hopefully some rc10talk member has the body and would share some pics.
Sorry again for the poor quality. Will repost when I get a working scanner. This is an interesting interview with Cliff Lett. Some cool info about the 10L's development. He comes off kinda cocky though... funny.
I remember those pictures like it was yesterday. I must have read that issue 1,000 times. I thought it was so cool to have a truck looking buggy. I was never a big fan of the clumsiness of the likes of the blackfoot. This was the ticket to a truck...

Very interesting again after all this years. I think I have to search which of the old RRC magazines I still have left. I think RRC was one of the best magazines ever if not the best for some time.
BTW someone knows how Mike is doing at the moment?...
I bought a bunch of vintage rc mags a few weeks ago, and have started scanning/uploading them.
I've uploaded the first, but hopefully I'll be scanning/uploading one every day or two.
Other than the 'ROAR Rev Up', the first 6 or 7 magazines will be...

Interesting in this magazine to see the newish Tamiya Bruiser kit, with 2+1 radio, being sold for $699, while from the same sellers you could get a Futaba Megatech Jr...
Here's an article on the rare TQ10. I have never seen one for sale NIB on ebay before. A couple of times I have seen new assembled ones though.

Sweet!
That article and that car are what made me buy my first RC car; the mighty RC10 Graphite :p
I wanted a TQ10, but nobody had even heard of them. I even brought in the magazine to the hobby shop. Back then, like today, your average hobby shop...
