Re: Delta Super Spyder 1/12
Thanks Alan and Chris. Glad you like my Super Spider. Restore actually was not really difficult, just a good clean. This car was built but never used.
The rear suspension is really interesting and quite different from other Delta cars.
Seems this rear end did work really good but also was prone to tweak or bend.

Re: Delta Super Spyder 1/12
Nice Delta V12! The filings around chassis edges is really nice made.
Is the rear suspension totally "free floating" (left-right and up-down) without those 3 dampers and springs?
Jirka
EDIT: umm... not mayby floating left to right but rolling left tire up, right tire down like 1:12 scale rear end used to move.

Re: Delta Super Spyder 1/12
Thanks Jirka!
Free floating is a term used by Delta at their ads or catalog. I think in reality it doesn´t work really free floating but it could provide more suspension travel than most others. Also if build correctly it should work with very little friction and no binding, so suspension could work with just shocks and springs involved.
