Project Roadkill
I've been gathering up parts to build a replica of an A&L RC10T Roadkill conversion from their catalog and that was shown in an old RCCA:
Here are the parts I have so far:
- AE #6301 chassis
- A&L Roadkill body & spoiler
- A&L Lethal Weapon belt-drive tranny...thanks Daryl!
- A&L mounted truck foams on white dish wheels...thanks Daryl!
- A&L bellcrank steering
- Factory Works front & rear oval shock towers
- Factory Works battery brace
- Dynamite bearings
- RPM rear bulkhead
- RPM body mounts
- AE .56" team shocks
- AE universals
*I'll update this thread as I find more parts and begin the build.

Re: Project Roadkill Begins!
I like their Supermod truck body a little better than the Roadkill, but I love oval trucks overall. McAllister makes some cool bodies too.

That's going to look sweet, but that paint job is going to be a bitch. I hope your good at painting! If not get Eau Rouge to do it!
Your going to have to dye the wheels neon/florescent yellow. I'm sure you can just boil the mounted wheels, foam and all, but I have not been able to find any neon yellow dye at all! Let me know if you find a source!

I've already contacted Eau about the paint.
I'm just going to keep the wheels white. Daryl was sold out of the yellow wheels, and said the 10T foams only came on white wheels. They'll work for now, unless I find some NIP yellow 10T wheels.

Re: Project Roadkill Begins!
Unfortunately no. I won the body in a lot on ebay and the duct wasn't included.SteveK wrote:Looks awesome. Do you have the 'tunnel' for the body to pipe air into the motor?

Bummer. Shouldn't be too hard to make, even vacuum form your own once you have the shape down. Plenty of videos about home vacuum formers on YouTube.

Re: Project Roadkill
Did you ever finish this project? I'd be curious to see how it turned out with the a&l body. Very nice build!

Re: Project Roadkill
This is an amazing build. Did you ever get the body painted?
Also, did you add the aluminum rings on the A&L Lite outdrives? I don't think I have seen those on that type of outdrive. lol
