NomadRacer's RC10 Trailing Arm Truck
I don't have a truck... I'm a build me one
My first batch of parts came in this morning, lots more will be coming over the next few weeks. This will be a Stealth tranny, 13.5T brushless powered, Factory works inspired build. I have some of my own ideas for parts to make for it, which will be quite cool if I say so myself!

Git some! Been too quiet around here. Curious to see what you build.

Re: NomadRacer's RC10 Trailing Arm Truck
Thank you guys for your interest, I hope to keep it
The wait for parts is killing me. Hopefully Tuesday will drop a small pile on me. While I wait, I made a Kydex front bumper (for the purist, I have a 10T OEM one inbound).

Honestly I love the look of yours but for a racer back in the day, we cut off that bend and used an rpm bumper. That bent piece would be the reason we bent up noseplates and with it gone, we were better off

Ahh, nice bit of trivia, thanks! I've spotted some RPM bumpers on fleabay but have had more critical parts to get. This week my eBay bucks will kick in so I'll snag those 1/4" CVA's at a $8.20 discount

Re: NomadRacer's RC10 Trailing Arm Truck
I'm starting to think about shocks today and need some advice. I'd like to use AE 12mm V2's since I have plenty of rebuild kits and pistons. I found a great deal on 1.18" shock bodies. Will these be ok and if so, what shock shafts do I need?

Unless you're going for a vintage look, my answer to shocks will always be big bores, providing you can get the proper size for your application. The performance, threaded shock bodies, Vent screw, etc makes them my first choice.

Re: NomadRacer's RC10 Trailing Arm Truck
Hey guys, any advice on how to go about fixing this "tweak"? It's approx. a 4mm gap.

Re: NomadRacer's RC10 Trailing Arm Truck
looks like the motor plate was modified, and it might have been held in a vise on the back flange, causing it to be flattened somewhat. Need to simply add some curve back in and bend back into position. the chassis looks fine, but you could also tweak it a little to bring the end forward.

Thanks for the tips. I'll get to bending on the motor plate first!

Re: NomadRacer's RC10 Trailing Arm Truck
I spent more than an hour, less than 12 to get this far. I was not able to do anything with the curve at the bottom but there's no tension on any screws!
