Re: Spin off of the Yo-Yo thread.... Toy Fads
I remember those Kings. We had a few different kinds here.
I keep looking at my Losi JR-T from way back and am now wanting to buy a few more.
I was able to buy a set of slot cars with some more track for my collection recently. Those are so fun to work on.
Even though you know you are not making the car much faster, or custom shaping an old body to have better air flow, they look faster on the track.

I know Lowgear and I remembered these on here once before, but it's definitely been long enough to bring up again. Anyone else remember these? A Super Soaker would have taken these out in a heartbeat if they had been invented yet.

If things seem under control, you are just not going fast enough.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Fidget Spinners. I can't believe people will spend up to $10 or more on those things. I call them "Ijit Spinners".

Why does everyone talk about transformers, but no one ever mentions Gobots? I loved gobots bitd. I still have lawn darts, although I already risked federal prosecution by showing them on this forum before. This is a toy that I loved as a kid and found this one at a yard sale awhile back. Might not seem like much of a challenge----until you try to do it in the backseat of a car going down the freeway.

I LOVED that bowling game! You never knew where that "ball" would go. I've totally forgotten about this, among many, many other things. Thanks for the reminder!Basher67 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 4:45 pm Why does everyone talk about transformers, but no one ever mentions Gobots? I loved gobots bitd.
