Hey all,
So I picked up a battery charger for my collection made by a company called B&B manufacturing. Looks pretty typical of the AC/DC timers of the early to mid 1980's, but obviously aimed at the more serious racer with variable charge rate, discharge, etc. Plus it has the totally period name of "The Juice Machine". Gotta love that. Anyway, does anyone have any history on the place? I personally never heard of them.
Here's the one I had. Sadly, I think I threw it out, i could have used it to charge my 12e pack once I build it
I got this charger in about '87 or so with my Hot Trick RC10 (see signature). It was a very nice charger, I should have kept it and cleaned it up. It still worked great.
A few months ago a new RC track opened up very close to my house in Arlington Heights, IL. I used this as an excuse to get my 7 year old boys into the sport and bought them a Slash. I dusted off my RC10T I raced when I was 13 and I'm in the...

Nice, what motor did you go with?
I put in a Castle 5700 a few years ago when I was just bashing it outside. That's total overkill, so I'm planning on getting a Reedy blackbox set-up so I can race at the track.
Does anyone know how much longer the JG chassis kit was compared to the stock LWB chassis? It's been bugging me for a few weeks now and I'm having trouble digging up any info on it. Thanks!

Man that looks badass, the fronts arms are installed that way for a reason? they seem to be backwards is it to extend the wheelbase or am I off base here.
These look like Associated dog bones! But much longer - 3 in length pin to pin. Any idea what these were for? Thanks!

Yeah! The header card shows the dog bones to be for part number A-39 and A-41. Spendy little buggers, I wonder what the part numbers are a reference too?

Oh well, it's only a $2.50 gear, thank goodness.
Call them and let them know; if we keep letting stuff slide then they will not know to improve their quality control.
