Parma body poster

Post by aconsola »

Here it is as requested. Sorry for the glare, my scanner is packed and in storage so I just took a pic.
The white pickup to the left of the blue 10254 Ford cobra is the 10246 outlaw S-10. above the pickup is the 10269 ford bronco. I think all the other part numbers are readable.

Thanks for the pic! I used to have this poster. The first aftermarket body I ever got was the Frog Jumper after I painted the stock body on the outside.

I hear that!

Interesting, when you look at the bodies of old, they are all blocky and edgy. Bodies today are more sleek and aerodynamic. Gotta love vintage!

I wish I did, but I don't.

I do have a couple of the posters and some real old single 8.5 x 11 sheets.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Well Ladies and Gentlemen, the reason I asked for pics is that Parma may be able to pop originals of old shells in quantities over 25. Sure they may not have all the molds you guys might want, but could be a good avenue for investigation...

So.. if anyone else has any other posters etc (Mr. Lexan?), we could see if we can get combined order together or something?

Can't really afford it myself, but was working on getting it together for you guys before saying something out of turn..

I tried getting ahold of them about the bigfoot shuttle(ford aerostar) body for the lunchbox and emails went unreturned.
I'd love to get one of those done for the LB.

I pretty much had the same experience. I talked to some guy named Michael I believe a couple times on the phone and then he started not returning my calls or emails. He told me the same thing, then for whatever reason he pooped out on me. I gor trired of trying to reach him. I think it was because they were too lazy to start digging and really only want to put the effort into the molds that they have on site. He told me the older stuff is stored off site and they had no intention of ever selling any of them.

I got the same treatment but it was a few years back. I was after 1/12th scale bodies.
Have a nice day! :)

we were able to get the lunchbox van body porduced in a lot of 25 several years ago. This was way before Tamiya re-released any kits. They came without overspray film, or stickers, and bulk-packaged. One guy bought them and then re-sold them to us. I do not recall if it was through tamiyaclub or the old RCMT board.
so there is some hope.
