6-gear re-build

Post by Sharkman »

fellas, here's a pic of the gold tub I'm re-doin'.Still needs some parts, but I'm gaining on it.The whole back of the car is RPM parts, bulkhead, arms, and axle carriers,I also have the RPM front arms and steering bellcranks for it too.It should be alot of fun to run when it's done.here you go.

rpm stuff

Post by Sharkman »

i didn't know RPM had a 6-gear trans case.I'd imagine tough to find.I just bought some parts from Scott, and a nice stock case came in the lot.Just have to sort the extras and put the trans together.Still need a few goodies, but it's getting close now.Probably just use Lunsford for T-buckles.

Anyone know if RPM still makes ball cups in white??Thanks.

the rpm tranny is actually a 3 gear stealth 2.65 ratio conversion.it comes with a 18 tooth top gear instead of the 22t the stealth did.the case is the same size as the 6 gear tranny though....lol.

down below where it says customers also bought is the idel and diff and 3/32 diff balls youd need.
i threw the blue ae ti turnbuckles on mine over the lunsford.heres the ones youd need if you change your mind
