"B" Chassis question

Post by tizeye »

A friend has a NIP "B" chassis that's been gathering dust for awhile so I figured that with all of the leftover bits that I have I could build him a roller...what I want to know is did the "B" chassis use the stealth gearbox? The reason I ask is because the holes are different...
Cheers
Pete

I was wondering the same type of thing. I got a box that looked unused and it had a B chassis. The transmission was a six gear but it also had holes for the stealth. I wonder if the stealth was phased in later than the chassis?

i'm not sure if all of them did, but alot of the rc10 c.e. 6 gears were drilled for the stealth.

Thanks for the info. The car I have is a CE with the longer front arms and 6 gear. I just found it odd to be drilled for the stealth but not have it with it. Did some CE cars have the stealth?

I have two NIB ce kits both are the stealth. Both are B chassis . One is drilled and counter sunk for both the sleath and six gear. The other is drilled for both but only counter sunk for the stealth.
