Synergy drops by every now and then and I miss Dr. Robotnik posts but he hasn't been here in a year the last time I looked so let's hope he achieved his goal of a doctorate degree and has moved on to bigger and better things, but he sure did have some great stuff.Mr. ED wrote:I know he fell in cold war with some members but I miss dr. robotnik. And Terry-sc; not the easiest for me to get along with but an information wonder. It sometimes appeared as if he was specialised intracing anything however obscure in shortest time possible.

My company did the same thing so i had to submit an exception request. Anybody on this list from Lockheed Martin can thank me now.bearrickster wrote:I have to ask were does he work that would black list a vintage RC site?
that is a great point Justinspeed. Kinda the thing that happens with people and forums. A hotspot that I used to be on all the time was ANTR(AffordableNitroTechRacing) until Dan(the owner got busy with life and kinda stopped coming by then it slipped by until awhile later found out he died at an early age. And another forum was CrescenziRacing's rc10gt/2 board but then life kinda caught up with him and he stopped coming by his own board and shut down shop. Hope to see some of the guys come back now and then...justinspeed79 wrote:Yeah, I see a lot of guys on that list that used to be very active here. Maybe it's the "nature of the hobby".... lol....

I haven't been to the GT forum in months, a lot of good info there if you can sort through it. But a lot of those people who helped me when I was getting back into RC's are here too, Todd and Justinspeed, a few others I think too.klavy69 wrote:that is a great point Justinspeed. I live in the town over from Owego NY, the lockheed facility that was doing the presidential helicopter that got axed. Tons of LM folks in my neighborhood, they really keep this small town running.
That was the US101 helo, right? The company I work for designs aircraft hangar doors and I was the project manager for several doors on an LM facility in Owego a few years ago.LM? You guys are everywhere.
