Conrad's TA03F drifter

Here is my TA03F Drifter, and the chassis was released in 1995. I've had this car for 6 months now, and have now only started to find time to actually use it! It's got locked diffs, carbon steering bar, 5.5t ezrun combo, HPI 9mm offset rims and T Drifts, and LED light kit. The body is a Ford Falcon XR8 which I used my wife's real car as a reference. Soon it will have a full carbon chassis kit and alloy arms, knuckles and some Unis. Some of you overseas guys would never have seen this kind of body as it's an Aussie car.



I modified the battery holder to accomodate the lipo size and also the cables for the lipo..

It's 4wd(you cant see the drive belt very well), but by having the motor up front, it gives the car almost perfect 50/50 weight distribution. That's why they they banned them from professional drifting in japan in the 90's. Cheers

Oh gotcha, not up on the touring chassis', now its even cooler!

I had one of those for a little while. I was going to be crazy and combine the TAO3F with a TAO3 R and try to build a twin motor car. Never really finished it and ended up trading it for a XX4.

Yeah Ive seen footage of a twin motor TA03... it was ridiculously fast and slidin everywhere...and that was on racing slicks!! Ive been considering doing it when i start replacing the std parts with hopups...
