for the price I think you did well, they look fine. its hard to hurt a Losi. I have a extra jrxT manual and a NIP set of those wheels.

Welcome to the Losi forum!!! You did well. The ultima front end was the inspiration for front the jr series.

If you or your son will be running the car/truck on the street, make sure you use a chassis protector on the bottom. The losi graphite will produce some really nasty splinters.

Good luck on the build!!

i got one of the trucks today.not bad condition.they came with nice alloy shock collars and the bottom alloy mounts as well. i could use a manual for the tear down and rebuild.

Looks like good prces on those. There are manuals available on line, or pm bearrickster, looks like he can set you up. Losis are cool because so many parts are relatively easy to swap.

so i took one truck for a boot with some old green losi motor. not too shabby. im gonna toss my li po cells in it and a newer brushed motor. then a brushless mamba in it . will it hold up gear wise? my son is 4 and had his 1st attempt at driving. does losi make a 4way wrench like the kyosho ones? all my tools are for kyosho's .
its my 1st truck as well and its pretty cool. cant charge batteries fast enough for my son to go driving lol

As my name suggests, I WAS a Tamiya junky until I saw my first JRX2 Junior  - I am now on the Losi wagon and slowly selling my Tamiya fleet off to make room for more Losi buggies and trucks!! You can not honestly beat Losi for quality, style, and handling.... welcome to my addiction!!!

Hey Conrad.

I hope to have my JRX2 5 link up and running by sat as well. Always loved it and is really a shealf queen but decided to run along with my new JRX2 Truck that would have been ready but the new body shell is no good. Waiting on another shell.

So i will have my Metal Hot Shot with a fully rebuilt Hot Shot 2.

Vintage Losi are great.

See you SAT.
