seriously, I would get it appraised by someone qualified, then give it to a friend. You know.....that one friend you owe a large debt to that the wife doesn't know! Have both parties sign a record saying the guitar is enough to settle the debt.

Otherwise I would go boating!!!

Thanx for all the info so far guys. Please keep it coming. As far as my brother goes with divorce I've even lost stuff to his divorces  . He just usually packs up what he can carry and hits the road so whatever was there was hers in the end. At least this one didn't have a kid involved. He isn't answering his phone so I haven't gotten any info as of yet but will keep this updated when (if) it happens in case anyone is in need of a new toy. He's in the selling mood and I'm not storing anything else for him. Usually ends up here for years then it gets pitched and he comes out the week after wanting his stuff...OR...sits here for years and then when I decide to clean it up and take care of it and use it for myself next week here he comes to give it to someone else  . Updates asap. Thanx again.

You gotta try to help family out, and all, but it sounds like he may be more trouble than it's worth. Maybe you just need to leave him be. :?:

I'll help out when asked but I'm not going outta my way besides a little time and typing so far but if you knew this ex. you'd understand why I don't want her to have anything.
