Can't find a part

Post by christhepcguy »

After waiting just over a week for new idler gears and CV shafts, I found that I'm missing the bent e-clip that holds on the idler gear pivot to the metal plate in the 6 gear tranny. Anyone know where I can get one? Or atleast something that will work.

Also, will these fit the stock CE rear wheels?

That clip, tires, shock rebuild kit (along with some oil), and a paint job are all I need to finish my CE.

Thanks.

You should be able to find that e-clip at any good hardware store. Just bring in the old one if possible and match it uo.

Problem is I don't have the old one. The manual just calls it "large curved "E" clip".

Got the parts, put it all together and was able to run it. Thank You.

If there is a slight gap between tires bead and the rim use rubber bands around the rim it grips at both surfaces and keeps from glue them in place.DON  8)
