I will for sure take the spur! What do I owe you for it? I was going to get one from the bay but didn't know if I needed anything else. Are they 48 pitch?Eau Rouge wrote:Wow, NICE early JRX2. No logo on the motor plate, solid rear shock tower... excellent find. Get a body, wing and gear cover from Jay, rear axle spacers and drive pins and a set of orange wheels and tires and you are NOS all the way. I have an original NOS spur gear for you, too. It's in my bin of stuff for the Garage Sale next weekend. You can have it—would be a nice fit on this beautiful original.
The spur keys into a drive pin, then is secured by the E-clip on the outside.
Yes, 48 pitch. I don't want anything for the spur. Someday you might have something I'm looking for. Make a mental note of it.fastang wrote:I will for sure take the spur! What do I owe you for it? I was going to get one from the bay but didn't know if I needed anything else. Are they 48 pitch?

I love your JRX2 Eau Rouge.... its one of my 'favourites' on TamiyaClub.com, just so period correct with the electrics etcEau Rouge wrote:
Oh, and unless the screws are completely rusted, soak them in WD40 and hit them with a plastic brush, like a toothbrush. You'll be surprised.
