JRX2 Baloons?
Anybody remember the advice in the back of the JRX2 manual from Losi about the shock baloons?
I don't think I ever saw them mounted on a car or for sale anywhere. Were they even available? Or did
someone just cut some baloons and stretch them over the shocks like booties? If anybody has
a pic of them it would be much appreciated.
Cheers....Thanx

Re: JRX2 Baloons?
So they are just mini baloons for the shocks I guess, like you could get at a party store or wherever and
cut the tops off?
Weird. I never saw anybody else runnin them on their JRX's back then on the few tracks I used to go to.
Guess they were too new when I was into my car.
Its crazy that there are some of them circulating around these days and I never saw them back then. I worked at a local
hobby shop for about 4 yrs thru HS and I'm almost positive we never had em (cause I would've had first
pick & definately tried them on my car if we did since those shock shafts have always been problems), and we had lots of Losi &
JRX2 parts (Losi dealer). I have always kept in touch with the owners and we are still good friends, and I
stopped over their shop a few months ago (after I got the recent R/C bug again) and was rumaging thru some old
boxes of Associated and Losi parts and they still had some stuff there that I swear I know I put the price gun labels
on back then while doin inventory!!!
Guess the stuff never sold, eh?!?! (until I bought some of it recently
)
1/12 Carpet track upstairs w/ full pits, computer lap timing,
and an active weekly racing league (still have many trophys and ribbons!).
Corally SP12's, Du-Mor R/C Tires, Trinity Lola bodies & Pushed Cells, Fantom & Revtech
Motors, Novak, Tekin, 2PD Magnums & S132H servos (FUT G, of course).
AHHH the good times! Priceless.

Re: JRX2 Baloons?
Well I might as well ask, What the hell are these for? rod ends? shocks? links??
The manual does make mention of it but they are claiming them for rear suspension links to keep dirt out obviously but with out poking a hole thru them to get the bolt thru how do you install em. Is this the reason noone uses them?? because they dont work?? Seems silly to poke a hole in your seal. or am I missing something

I dunno.....I think I am still missing something too with these $0.59c party store mini-baloons. Anyone have a pic of them
properly installed on a car?
