XX slider axles - traxxas?
I just learned Traxxas Bandit driveshafts will work on JRX2. Got me wondering also since I hve the retrofit differential ends for adapting JRX2 axles to a XX, if a set of these plus those and I would have a converted XX to sliders.
I guess the only issue is bearing size on hub? THe XX uses 3/16 x 3/8, traxxas appears to be 5mm x 8mm. Very close.

Re: XX slider axles - traxxas?
you can mix and match the losi and traxxas stuff. a set of jrx2 axles should do what you want.
the losi crosspins are bigger than the traxxas ones, so you need to make sure you use the right crosspins at the right joints. the traxxas ones use around 2mm pins, the losi's are around .100", so I've used the losi pins and drilled out the traxxas yokes as needed.

Re: XX slider axles - traxxas?
The early XX's came with sliders and the jrx2 and XX use the same axle just the xx use's a newer part number for the same part., I have a bunch of the diff halfs for sale in the BST section.

Got it, I have some retrofit diff gears as well. Was the retrofit a diffferent transmission case? Not familiar with exactly what it was but have some parts labeled for it and have seen the term thrown around here.

Yes it was it is used to put the XX trans in the Jrx pro se and LX-T. it will fit all of the cars from the Jrx2 up to the xx with a chassis mod. here is the one in my Pro se and my Junior two. by useing it you loose the top body mount location on the transmission.RCveteran wrote:Got it, I have some retrofit diff gears as well. Re: XX slider axles - traxxas?
It has a Trinity P2K. a very nice brushed motor. but its comming out as soon as my brushless 17.5 that AE. owes me gets here. the trans is pretty strong, I ran a 10.5 brushless with a lipo and it held up but was so fast it wasnt even fun to drive.RCveteran wrote:Excellent, so it is a different case and regular XX internals. What is that motor you have in there?

That is the motor that was in the kinwald I just scored off ebay. I have not tried it yet but it looks like it was never run or barely. I could tell it was a nice motor with the vents in the cans and the sticker with the dyno data etc.
